Kayaking to the Uros Floating Islands offers a unique and peaceful way to explore Lake Titicaca. Paddling through calm waters within the Titicaca National Reserve, travelers enjoy close contact with nature while admiring scenic landscapes, native birdlife, and the remarkable floating islands made of totora reeds. This experience combines adventure, culture, and sustainability in one unforgettable journey.

Itinerary

7:00 a.m. Pick-up from your hotel and transfer to Esteves Island Bay. The guide will give a short briefing about the adventure, and then we begin our kayak journey. We will paddle for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes through the Titicaca National Reserve. Along the route, you can enjoy beautiful landscapes, a variety of birds, local flora and fauna, and even a natural rocky island formation. Upon arrival at the Uros Islands, the guide will provide an introduction to the tour program. You will then have free time to explore the island, visit a local family’s home, take photos, and more. At the end of the visit, we will return to Puno, arriving back at your hotel around 11:00 a.m.
